23rd Annual Southern Intellectual History Circle Conference, February 24-26, 2011

The Summersell Center will be hosting the 23rd Annual Southern Intellectual History Circle Conference, to be held in Tuscaloosa from February 24-26, 2011. Open to the public, the conference will include a keynote address by Duke University Professor of History Laura Edwards, and a preview screening of the PBS documentary, “Freedom Riders.” Registration for the conference is free, but to assist us with logistics and planning, we are asking anyone intending to attend to fill out a brief registration form by February 1, at http://tinyurl.com/sihc-register. The conference schedule follows, with additional information about meeting rooms and presentation titles to be posted as it becomes available.
